I love guitar as much as I love programming. I’ve been playing guitar for several years, I started playing styles like heavy, pop, classical but just few years ago I started to get flamenco lessons. I believe flamenco is one of the most powerful musical styles in the world but it required you to have good skills to play it correctly.
Flamenco guitar lessons have been taught historically by mouth, so it’s hard to find good material to learn it, as opposed to, for example, classical guitar where you could find thousands of scores. Due to that I came out with the idea to create a website to collect video lessons and scores for flamenco guitar.
The website backend is written in yii using mysql as database, the frontend is using jquery and another of my project as scores editor (guitk editor).
